...by the President of TFDA: The Triangle Flying Disc Association (TFDA) welcomes you to the first annual Carolina Kudzu Coed Classic. Our charter is to promote the sport of Ultimate, and I can't think of a better way than sponsoring a coed tournament! We feel we have some of the nations best Ultimate in this area and we're proud to be able to share it with you. May your fun and spirit grow like the weed for which the tournament is named! ...by the Mayor of Holly Springs: Welcome! On behalf of the Town of Holly Springs and the Board of Commissioners I would like to extend a hearty welcome to you and your associates. We are excited about hosting the Kudzu Coed Classic and look forward to you visiting our town. The fields where you will be playing are a part of a 46 acre tract the town recently purchased known as Womble Park. When completed this park will consist of soccer fields, ballfields, tennis and volleyball courts, walking trails, picnic shelters and other amenities. We are delighted your teams can utilize our park while it is in the development stage. The Town of Holly Springs is one of the fastest growing municipalities in southern Wake County. We are striving to maintain our small town atmosphere while providing the resources of a larger city. Hosting this tournament will give Holly Springs an opportunity to demonstrate our southern hospitality. I hope your visit with us is enjoyable and your tournament a great success. Good luck at the games. Sincerely, Mayor Gerald Holleman |
