Royal beat Stonewashed Green (17-13) in a game which was within a couple points until the very end. Green started out the game pretty pysched because there was no sight of Augie, unfortunately for Green that didn't last very long. Stonewashed Green was up by 2 most of the first half and took half 9-8(finally). In the second half, the game was tied most of the time. At 13s, Green seemed to be a little physically and mentally tired, and we just couldn't convert when we needed to. Royal also stepped it up and got some great Ds. Stonewashed Green was also missing quite a few players, both men and women, busy in Athens beating local rivals :) Highlights include Gary Aycock playing some great D on Augie, Kenny Anderson's great reads of my floaty hucks, Juice's (Dave Jones) hot layout D in the end zone, and Sarah Wilson playing savage in her first ultimate game. Great playing Stonewashed Green, I'm looking forward to the rest of the season.
