Cinnamon began the game with a few key players not in attendance, and they succumbed in the first half 9-4. Most of those key players never did show, and Cinnamon simply had to play harder... and they did. Led by Bradley Newsom working most of the offensive set, with Chip Depew serving up a rash of key breakmark passes, Cinnamon was able to get back into the game, finally coming as close as 10-12, only 2 points back. Ash finally fired its last salvo and went on a 5-1 run, taking the game 17-11. Kudos to the young Cinnamon girls (a vague allusion to the Neil Young ditty) Megan and Xan (?) for working the larger Ash contingent as well as they did. Ash's younger players (Scott and Yashir) distinguished themselves with good defense and patient throws (and one collision as they both went for the same disc from opposite directions).
