What a truly excellent game between Sage and Charcoal, and anybody who saw it would agree. Charcoal came out strong in the first half, at one point with a 7-2 lead. This is a tough team and thank god Andrew wasn't there. I was very impressed by how much their women made a difference in this game (Seagroves might disagree :) Charcoal held onto the lead for most of the game. Fortunately for us, Sage decided to show up in the second half (even though Dan A. didn't). What a great comeback team Sage! Our young guys stepped up their defense and our veterans stepped up their offense, holding Charcoal to 5 points in the second half. It was so impressive to see my team dig deep and never give up, despite trailing throughout most of the game. Good job to both teams for a great, spirited game! PS...and a personal thank you to Dan-O for the pre-game collision and pretty bruises. Nice try buddy!
