| 12/16/2000 | Noon | 2 | 17     Slate - B 12     Stonewash Blue - D |
Noon arrived, but several players were still absent for both squads. SW blue played without J Jones and Perry, who was ill and had to watch from the sidelines. Stonewash had their way early, with Mark Holt connecting deep to Barry and Duncan and Beck. With the score 6-2, Scotty finally decides to show up for Slate, and rallied the team to a 8-7 lead, before SWB took half at 9-8. Slate had 8 players and went zone most of the way. In spite of coaching from Mark and Perry, and comments from SWB like "there are huge holes in the middle, we need poppers" it was feast or famine for stonewash blue who connected deep a couple of times, but coudn't hit the open mid range players consistently. Meanwhile, Stephan stepped up his game, captain Tom scored several sneaky goals, and Scotty continued to pose match up problems for SWB. The result, a win for Slate.
