Be gone cold and be gone one game weekends. Gold showed up once again, I'm almost ashamed to admit, looking better and yes, sexier (at least in John Eyles' mind), than their spicy Cinnamon advisories. Gold was slightly short in the roster division and thus the men played savage while the 4 women (3 if you don't count Dianne) got just the right amount of play time needed to chase Brigette, (pickup) Tammy B and the third, name unknown, Cinnamon Girl. The game started out close, with the score 4-4, then 5-5, but Gold went on to take the half, primarily because Gold got 9 points before Cinnamon did - if you want to know how many points Cinnamon had at half I can't help you there. In fact, I don't even know what the final score was (and apparently neither does anyone else on Gold). Gold is just sure that we ended the day with 17 points AND we managed to get all 17 of those points BEFORE 4:15pm, hence enabling folks to get home to watch the Giants game, although most of us probably missed the 97 yard return for a TD on the opening kickoff (go Jints!!), but alas, that's another game and another story and that's not why you're reading this report. Why are you still reading this report anyway? Ok, so you want a highlight? Here's one: Marathon Mary came a-LIVE at the end of the game, throwing Gold's 14th score, and then catching both the 15th and 16th goals. Earning her the customary Gold Finger team salute.
