Cinnamon went up 2-0, but Black rallied back to a 7-2 lead. Then Cinnamon scored 6 in a row to go up 8-7 (damn those young college players . . . oh wait, Jeff isn't a young college player!). Black scored to tie it up, but Cinnamon returned the score, taking the half 9-8. Despite Charlie's pep talk at the half, Black got their heads together and came out strong the 2nd half. In one of his rare winter league appearance, Lee Walston played effectively on D and O, causing turnover after turnover and always capitalizing on the fast break. Cinnamon and Black traded scores till 12-11, then Black took off, taking the capped game 15-12. It was a greate game all around (Winter League special site alert: Watch how Luke grins when he throws the break-mark, over-the-shoulder backhand for the score. Kind of evil; great fodder for heckling come tourney time!)
