Too bad this game didn't happen. Sand and Slate are sweet little teams, and with all eyes currently on John Eyles, who, rumor has it, was just awarded a Nobel Peace Prize for recruiting computer geeks to his company, this game would have been one to watch. Yes, it's true, the Nobel people have been expanding the awards categories. Snychronized Swimming? Not just an Olympic sport anymore... I anticipate this game would have been be a fight. Players would've slogged, struggled, and otherwise fought the twin adversities of draft picks not showing and Marc Kessler's hangover. This game could've even eked its way into overtime. It may be played this Sunday, though, so, if you can't figure out the make up schedule for your game, and find yourself standing around wondering if you should try to pick up with another team, or go catch the State game, check it out.
