WINDY it was very windy. this was a game that was going to be won by the team who could manage the upwind scores. most of the game was spent trading downwind points with long hucks by cardinal's pat mcnally and joe wolhar and sand's jon proctor. however, sand's effective zone defense was able to stop a lot of the hucks and we were able convert for the upwind score. and despite the fact that sand could hardly catch a disc (we probably had 15 drops during the game), we were able to keep cardinal in check. then a lot of other stuff happened (mostly good stuff for sand and bad stuff for cardinal) and sand won 17-12. natalia is a supa-star! sand's 2 women played savage and natalia played point in the zone cup almost the entire game! WOW!
