Tight game between two competitive teams. Black came out strong and lead 7-2. Charcoal got their offensive deal together and came back to be down 907 at half. Charcoal had strong second half showing taking advantage of a few extra subs after several long points. Final 17-14 Charcoal. Bobby Croom played his usual all out hussle and Bob Egan had a lot of good throws. Sue Watts played savage and did a great job. Steve Amigone had a crucial lay out d and Rob Stancil got open for a handful of scores.

just as the civil war staged brother against brother, so did the sage-steel match up. as in the aforementioned report, baker and ian pratt battled it out on the playing field saturday. numerous spectators came out with their chairs and their coats to watch the battle. steel was lead by their own abraham lincoln, chris rodning, who never tired in his play and his cheering. steel's defensive blockade proved successful by slowing up sage's offensive drives and even sometimes causing confusion and turnovers. steel's 'sherman'-like offense slashed and burned it's way through sage's D. steel troups were confident and excited not only coming off the previous weekend's battle victories but also inspired by team emails. the game was great! everyone played hard through til the end.
