Slate went ahead early and never looked back on a blustery morning. Sun never seemed to be able to really get their deep game going (a real threat, with Alan's backhand and two very tall deeps) thanks to some good end-zone police work by Brad. Meanwhile, Slate was able to handle Sun's zone fairly well, thanks to some great popping by Sam and Brad. Turnout for a chilly re-scheduled 10am game was unsurprisingly poor, forcing Sun to pick up Rodney (and still they had to play savage for most of the game) and Slate to pick up a woman whose name escapes me but who helped us a lot.
