Thanks to a couple of psyche-up emails and a great cheer from our young guys, Sage was able to pull itself out of its 2 week losing streak and win a tough game against a strong Gold team. This was a great game from the very beginning. Both teams traded points through the first half, with Gold taking the half, 9-8. The second half started the same way, despite the short appearance of Andy, as both teams played great offense in the wind. But Sage's defense picked up and was able to shut down the long game (for the most part) between Dobyns and Mike, as we pulled away at 12-12. Great playing by everyone, particularly the women on BOTH teams, who stayed involved and made some great plays. Way to go Mindy and Julie (who was nursing a cold)!!
