This year, the Winter League party will be held on Saturday night at 8:30 at the Comet near NC State in Raleigh. The Comet is located at 3003 Hillsborough St. To get in without a membership please tell the doorperson "I'm Beth's (Cates) guest." We will have a keg of good beer from 8:30 until 10:30, and then it has to go. From that point on, we'll be treated as any other patron of the bar on Saturday night.
If you're so inclined, bring some snack food (chips, dip, etc), because we'll have a table to spread some food out on.
Directions from I-440 Beltline: Take the Hillsborough St. exit toward NC State (east). It is about 2 blocks past Mark Holt's party mansion on the right...directly across the street from East Village. Coming from the beltline, the intersection the Comet is at is the 5th stoplight. If you pass a Hardee's on your right, you've gone too far.
