TFDA is transitioning to use Google Groups for online communication. The email address for the new group is ultimate@tfda.org and it is on the web at:

We hope to implement some additional changes to our online discussions in the near future, including separate announcement-only and discussion groups, and the transition to the new Google-hosted group is our first step. This group and other future groups will also be available on the web at:

http://groups.tfda.org/

While we are trying to make the transition as easy as we can, we expect there will be some hiccups along the way. Existing subscribers to should see information in their inboxes about the transition. New subscribers should be able to sign up at the above URLs. You do not need to have a GMail address, but having a Google Account is necessary for using the web interface.

If you prefer to subscribe using a Feed reader (RSS or Atom), there are a number of feeds for the group. A list of feeds is available at:

If you have any trouble with the new Google group, for the moment emailing will work, but in the future, the preferred method for contacting the list owners is to use the web form at the following URL:

We will also be decommissioning the ultimate@lists.ibiblio.org list. The existing archives will remain available at: http://lists.ibiblio.org/pipermail/ultimate/.

We believe that the new Google group will provide a greatly improved experience for subscribers and give many more options for accessing the list.
